InventoryManager supports the creation of new spatial features (e.g., Stands, Plots) via heads-up digitizing in the Map Panel.
When a layer has been configured to allow new feature creation, there will be a gray pencil icon to the right of the layer name in the map legend
Click the pencil icon once to enable feature creation (the pencil will turn orange). Two additional buttons will appear in the upper left corner of the map under the zoom buttons (+/-).
