Feature Services that were configured for MobileMap 4.x will need to be sync enabled if not enabled already.
Only one Feature Service can be downloaded at a time. This means there will only be one offline Geodatabase for the currently downloaded Feature Service.
Download Parameters have been replaced with “Configure Offline Geodatabase Parameters”. These parameters are only set upon the initial download/generation of the offline Geodatabase. This change means that once a Geodatabase is configured, the features that were excluded will never be included for any downloading of features for the offline Geodatabase.
“Initialize Database” is now gone. This feature is no longer needed. A feature service is downloaded with any Features that were not excluded.
“OFFLINE GEODATABASE INFO” is now available from the “Select an Action” screen. This feature displays the details of the current offline geodatabase. This feature also allows for the explicit deletion of the currently downloaded Geodatabase.
Other changes:
Signing out of ArcGIS is now available. Simply click the “LOGOUT OF ARCGIS” button from the Select an Action screen when you are already logged in to MobileMap through ArcGIS.
Background location tracking is now available. When recording Tracks, MobileMap will still be able to properly track when MobileMap is in the background (screen locked, etc.).
Back up of database. Database backups are now performed by using a Geodatabase “Delta” which is a SQLite database that only includes the changes that have been made locally since the last sync.
