An optional tool allows users to use the most up-to-date features for their cruise job by importing data that are being actively managed in another system.
Import Stand shapefile to InventoryManager:
One option for adding features to InventoryManager is to import a shapefile of stand polygons. The stand shapefile is uploaded as a compressed zipped file. To import a stand shapefile:
Select the Import SHP tab
Navigate to the zip file that contains a shapefile of stands
Select “Begin” to begin the process of importing the stand shapefile to InventoryManager
InventoryManager will import the stands and add them to the Source Stands Layer
Attribute the new source stand as needed using the stand attribute edit tools in InventoryManager
