From the “Offline Geodatabase Info” screen, you should see a “Last exported:” and “Last exported file location:”. The “Last exported file location:” will tell you where to navigate to access your backup file:

Copy this file to your local machine. This file will be used in the next step to perform the database backup.

Syncing Delta Geodatabase in InventoryManager

Once the Delta Geodatabase has been transferred from the device to the user’s local machine, InventoryManager’s “MM Backup” tool may be used to perform the database backup.

Log on to InventoryManager for the Feature Service that needs backing up. Login as the ArcGIS user who generated the Geodatabase originally. Once the user is logged in, they should select the “MM Backup” button:

Once the backup has been initiated, status updates will then read out. Once the status update reads “Completed”, the database should have been successfully backed up:

To verify that data changes, check the data in ArcGIS to verify that everything was backed up successfully.
