InventoryManger: Actions Panel Overview

The Actions Panel is displayed to the left of the map on the InventoryManager map tab. It provides access to a range of key features, including map search and data export. Because different InventoryManager sites have different needs and workflows, the Actions Panel on your site may not contain the same tabs or functionality.
Search:
The search can be used to find and select features meeting specific criteria.
It can also be used to limit feature selection to a certain layer when selecting features via map clicks. *Note that if a layer has been selected, limiting map click selection to a specific layer, and you want to remove this constraint then choose the option Select Layer to Search.
Zoom:
Use this tab to quickly zoom to features using a list of features based on a pre-defined attribute field.
Copy:
Copy stands into new layers or new copies with altered data.
Can automate data changes to original or newly copied data.
Plots:
Use this tab to create new plots using a range of plot layout options.
Import:
This tab is used by some InventoryManager sites to integrate with other systems by importing in relevant forestry data.
Export:
Export features using KML, Shapefile and CSV formats.
Spatial:
Export map selection as spatial data
Cruise:
Export inventory data to Excel using a configurable export format. Useful when importing inventory data into other systems.
Compile:
Generate reports on selected map data
Validate:
Matched plots up to stands after editing and/or copying spatial data to avoid orphan data.
